Altinkum life centres around Dolphin Square, with its myriad of shops, pavement cafes and restaurants. Stroll to the end of Dolphin Square and you are faced with the stunning golden sands of Altinkum beach, and the rich blue hues of the Aegean sea. A right turn will lead down one side of the promenade, proffering more restaurants, bars and nightspots.

Culture seekers could not find a better base than Altinkum. Only 4 Kms away is the famous temple of Apollo (see more local information). The single most impressive site on the Ionian Coast.

Altinkum is also a superb base for beach lovers looking to achieve the perfect tan. A dip in the clear waters of the Aegean provides the ultimate way to cool off whilst for the more energetic a variety of water sports are available.
